- UNIT 3: Healthcare Ethics and Professional Practice: Philosophical basis and principles of medical ethics (ethical theories, deontology, utilitarianism), medical research and ethics, policy and legislation for Clinical Officers, clinical incompetence, inter-professional relationships (with other health workers, unqualified practitioners, traditional healers), and the ethical responsibility to the community.
